Liability Release and Waiver of Risk

By signing below, I acknowledge, understand, and agree to the following terms regarding participation in this program:

• Assumption of Risk: I recognize that participating in volleyball activities involves inherent risks of injury, up to and including severe injury, permanent paralysis, or death. While rules, proper equipment, and personal discipline help minimize these risks, the danger of serious injury remains. I knowingly and freely assume all such risks, both known and unknown, even if arising from the negligence of the releasees or others, and assume full responsibility for my participation.

• Compliance and Safety: I agree to follow all stated and customary rules, terms, and conditions for participation. If I observe any unusual or significant hazard during the activity, I will immediately remove myself from participation and bring it to the attention of the nearest official.

• Release of Liability: I, for myself and on behalf of my heirs, assigns, personal representatives, and next of kin, hereby release and hold harmless NoCoast Volleyball, its officers, officials, agents, employees, other participants, sponsoring agencies, sponsors, advertisers, and owners or lessors of the premises ("Releasees"). I release them from any and all liability for injury, disability, death, or loss/damage to person or property, whether caused by the negligence of the releasees or otherwise, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

I have carefully read this release of liability and assumption of risk agreement. I fully understand its terms, recognize that I am giving up substantial rights by signing it, and sign it freely and voluntarily without any inducement.
